This past weekend we got to visit Dover International Speedway for the Xfinity Series Use Your Melon Sober Driving 200 race. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity that was only possible because Xfinity provided us with tickets and passes to the race. The first thing we got to do was go through the Xfinity Zone. This was amazing and so much fun.
Your first stop will be to get an All Access Pass. This allows you to participate around the zone and earn prizes.
So going around the zone in counterclockwise direction (because that was the least crowded way for us)
Here you can test the download/upload speeds of Xfinity Internet:
You can also take a photo with an Xfinity race suit. Once your photo is taken you can scan your access card and the print your photo on an ID. Talk about fun!
The next stop was the stage for us. We got to hear from Justin Algaier and Ryan Reed. Both drivers answered a few questions and then signed autographs. The next driver up was Matt Tifft. On Saturday at Dover, Matt actually drove the Comcast color scheme! We got to hear from him, he signed autographs and then we had a little one on 4 session. It may be a touch hard to hear but my Boy was on it with the questions.
Up on the stage you can also do a winning moment. Again you scan your all access card and the fun begins. When you get home all photos and videos while in the Xfinity zone will be in your email and ready for download or sharing!
We also got to learn about the Xfinity Mobile and had the chance to win an autographed prize there. Then there was a Virtual Reality section right in front of the Xfinity Home Display. This took you from the couch to the track:
The last section of the Xfinity Zone was the Xfinity X1 section and of course we already love so much about the voice remote but you also get to spin the wheel and there’s another prize to be won! https://www.instagram.com/p/BZmXLCjjlAp/?taken-by=ilikeitfrantic
As if that wasn’t enough fun then we had a little break to eat some lunch and do some shopping. Of course we had to round out some of our cars we needed with a Dale Jr Axalta car and a Ricky Steinhouse Jr car. Rae got a beautiful stuffed Mustang from the Ford shop. Next stop was the infield/garages/pit road. So much fun to visit and go through:
As if all that excitement wasn’t enough, we then got to watch driver introductions before heading to our seats. While there we got to watch as Matt Tifft came from the back to get a top 10 finish!
Thank you again to Xfinity for such an amazing opportunity and one that will make my boy smile for weeks.
