My two year old is teasing me about potty-training. One day she wants to use the potty, one day she doesn’t. I’m not pushing her because I know that one day it will ‘stick’ and we’ll say “bye-bye” to diapers forever! I’m hoping that our new Twigtale customized Lici Uses the Potty book will help encourage her to move into big girl pants in no time!
This book is adorable—beyond adorable, really. I went to Twig Tale and created my book in under 10 minutes. There are about 30 different books to choose from dealing with all sorts of child development issues including getting a new sibling, moving, and the loss of a pet. Each book can be customized with your child’s picture, name, and details that are specific to your life (for instance my book was about my daughter, but I was able to include some references to my sons as well!). The website advises collecting your photos first. I suggest you also look through the pages of the book you choose so you can include pictures that flow well with the story line. Have no fear if you can’t find or take enough ‘perfect’ shots—there are also stock photos you can use in your book!
Twigtale books were designed with the help of child development experts, so the stories are spot on when it comes to helping your child adjust to a new stage or experience. The customization really helps your kid seem themselves in the circumstances and learn how to navigate the new situation.
