With Easter just a few days away, we have some Tips for an Epic Easter. We worked together with Catholic Central to gather some great ideas. What are your favorite parts of celebrating Easter? We of course do the regular things like egg hunts and a big dinner but of course our favorite thing is listening to the story of the Resurrection and how our life is changed by the happenings. I’m working with Catholic Central to bring you Tips for an Epic Easter. I received a picnic basket set as a thank you for writing this post. All opinions are my own.
One of the things I love the most though is seeing the kids dressed up. I decided this year that I just couldn’t do the fight. Rae would be no problem of course but Charlie being a teenager now. UGH! He has his own opinions on how he should dress, what he should look like and well if I can get clean clothes on him that’s a plus these days. But I love seeing the kids dressed the same way we did for Easter. Big Bonnets, Easter dresses and no Easter is complete without Easter dresses.
My biggest tip for an Epic Easter is to take photos. We learned last year that we don’t always know when life will change. I’m so happy that I have some amazing photos from all throughout the years with my kids but I think these Easter photos are always ones that I will look on with love and smiles.
What is your biggest tip for an epic Easter? How do you celebrate? This year we will be heading to my parents again. It is the first year without my nephew and I know it will be hard on all of us. We’ve been struggling with Rae the last few weeks and I think that’s part of it. She misses some of the activities she knows that we would have normally done. She did help me gather candy and plastic eggs last week and filled them so we can do an egg hunt at the race track next weekend.
