There are a few times that I get a request to review a product and I don’t ask the kids if they want to do it. I just go for it. Starlink Battle for Atlas is one of those reviews. I’m working with Best Buy to promote Starlink Battle for Atlas. We were sent a copy of the game and some extra pieces to facilitate our review. All opinions are Charlie’s. Once the box arrived, I let Charlie have at it. He was responsible for our Starlink Battle for Atlas review.
The first step was to learn all about the game. There is a tutorial in the game that walks you through setting up your ship, how to change weapons and pilots and so much more.
Yes there are multiple Starklink Battle for Atlas weapons, pilots and ships that you can purchase. Not all are needed to advance in the game but it sure makes it more fun! Charlie played for a few hours and then begged me to hit up the Best Buy to purchase more. Best Buy has had different specials on the Starlink products. From December 16-22 you can Save $25 on Starter Packs. Plus, save 30% on Starlink toys. I wasn’t so happy about heading out. I was tired and it was cold and damp. But the boy doesn’t ask for too much so we went.
There was a great selection of all the different products. We even found some more on a top shelf.
The boy with all his wonders. He grabbed two more ships, an extra pilot and an extra weapons kit.
Starlink Battle for Atlas Review
Starlink is a super fun game and is worth it you get to create your own spaceship. Made up of the basic five ( The Zenith, Neptune, Pulse, Lance, Nadir) ships that either come with the starter pack or you can buy anywhere. There are a few ships that can only be purchased in certain stores or with certain starter packs. There are eighteen different weapons and ten different pilots. Also what’s really cool that if you buy the Switch pack you still have the zenith in your game just not physically.

When I say you can create your own spaceship I mean it because each of the wings on the ships come off so there’s a bunch more different ways you can build your spaceship. So in total after doing all the math there is 92160 different ways you can make your ship. If i did my math correct because eight ships times eight wings times eight wings again times the ten pilots times the eighteen weapons equal 92160! Then if you do not count the pilots because they really don’t change the outside look of the ship its still 9216 different combinations!
Starlink Battle for Atlas Graphics Review
Then the graphics are beautiful a really great looking game great cut scenes really really intriguing backstories for all of the characters. The idea of fast travel is just such a good idea. However like every game it has goods and bads. For example, a little bit into the game (switch exclusive mission to continue the Star Fox series) you get the opportunity to take down Wolf’s base. However there’s no fast travel. If you get there unprepared and you die, you then have to travel the entire distance over again. It’s not a short journey. If you fast travel to planet in a certain place you get glitched into an asteroid. The only way to get out is to leave the game, then go back into the game and you were no longer stuck in the asteroid.
