We won a copy of Skylanders Imaginators at Blogger Bash but had to share how much we love the new game with all of you! We received the Skylanders Imaginators for Xbox 360 and quickly went to work.
One of the key things I love about the whole series is even with new editions of the games, the characters all work with the new editions. So all of these will work with all new editions:
These are the Skylanders that we started collecting at the beginning with the very first game. Our collection has definitely grown since this photo was taken but it means being able to play in new and different ways each time we play.
What do we love about Skylanders Imaginators? As usual, I have the kids give me their thoughts:
Here are the things I liked and didn’t. I like that you can create your own Skylander. I also like that you can save your level from previous games for your Skylander collection like I have a level 40 Spyro and its still a level 40 Spyro. However, I don’t like that you have to go out off levels to get the stuff to create the Skylanders. I also don’t like that unless you do a level it does not save you progress because that is what happened to me twice.
You should buy this for Christmas because it is fun. It lets a creative mind be creative. It’s challenging. It has a interesting plot because Spyro himself tells the entire story and instructions to play the game, which is weird if you play as Spyro.
This game is about Kaos taking the Imaginate book and created a army of Doomlanders to try take down the Skylanders again. It will probably be taken again by the Skylanders. So the Skylanders will have to take down these Doomlanders and save all of Skylands again.
