We have new neighbors and I’m loving it. For the longest time it’s been boy central in our hood. The only girl has been Rachael. Then we got new neighbors to the left and they had a girl. Then we got new neighbors to the right and they have a girl. Okay so they have a little boy too but they have a girl! The problem is the boys like to have dart gun wars. The girls however always seem to get stuck with the little guns that only hold one or two darts. Not so fun to have a war with right? When I went to HoliDay of Play and TTPM I had the pleasure of meeting some of the people from Dart Zone. The other day the kids were all playing in the yard and as per usual the girls had gotten stuck. I ran to the store up the street and grabbed the last dart gun they had. It was a smaller Dart Zone gun but it held 10 darts at once. The girls attacked. My rule, girls only were allowed to touch this one. Then the magic happened. Dart Zone reached out and wanted me to spread the word about Dart Zone and their newest toys for the holidays. Dart Zone sent us the Dartstorm Belt Blaster to review.
This thing is beautiful! I quickly got the box opened, snapped the sides on and got the belt loaded and started shooting. (Sorry Steve! I really didn’t mean to take your eye out!)
The Dart Zone Dartstorm Belt Blaster has a 40-round ammo belt. Once you load your ammo into the belt, you simply place it into the canister on the one side of the gun. It auto feeds to the other side as you shoot. Darts will fly up to 90 feet! Because it is automatic and autofeeds, this gun does require 6 AA batteries. The upside, just like all other Dart Zone guns, the Dartstorm Belt Blaster uses universal darts. It comes with 40 but replacements are easy to find at most stores from Dollar General to Walmart to Amazon. Of course if you want something smaller than the Dartstorm Belt Blaster, you can find it with several other options from Dart Zone including the Light Command which actually light up for those night wars.
