As a mom I want my kids to work hard at improving their education. But I also know that they need to do this in a fun way sometimes. I’m talking about getting the video games shut off and using games to get kids thinking. I have worked with a few gaming companies in the past and loved them. I thought I would share two new games with you.
Games to Get Kids Thinking: Boom Goes The Dynamite
Boom Goes The Dynamite Card Game is a game that while racing against the timer, players try to make traditional or ignited matches
using some easy mental math. At the same time, try to remember where the cards are in the matchbox! Everyone in the house will want to play. Each set includes 84 casino-quality, bridge-sized cards. This high-quality, compact, travel-friendly box makes it ideal for game night, slumber parties and school holidays.
Here is a demo of how the game is played:
Games to Get Kids Thinking: 3Up 3Down
3UP 3DOWN Card Game is a fast paced card game. Open the pack and shuffle 84 neon-colored (orange, green, and blue), casino-quality, bridge sized cards. To win each round, a player must get rid of his cards before family and friends can. But, the “3DOWN” cards keep everyone guessing, as these cards are not revealed until the very end! Players need both strategy and luck. As the many Amazon reviews reveal, both kids and adults adore this game for 2 to 6 players. Check out the demo on how to play and win!
Do you have a favorite game that helps to get your kids thinking? I love that both of these games are portable and something the kids can totally take on the long road trip that is coming up for spring break. They’re also games that can be played with my nephew. While he is autistic, we are working on getting his math skills a tad better. With a little help, I think he could easily play with us as well as strengthen his math. A great way to get kids of all ages and skill levels to work together, thinking and learning!
