We all know our pets are a major part of our families. We love them, care for them, and in some cases treat them better than our family. I think Leia has more toys then both the kids combined. With the holidays coming in a few weeks, its the perfect time to think about making our pets feel in the Christmas spirit too. We are excited to be able to celebrate Leia’s first Christmas with us and are ready to check out dog stocking stuffers. As a Chewy Influencer, I received a Frisco Push to Mute Toy to add to our list. All opinions are my own.
Dog Stocking Stuffers: The Stocking
The first step is to have a great stocking. Yes you can get one of those prefilled ones (Chewy even has some) but I prefer creating our stockings from scratch. So I looked at all of Chewy’s different options and really fell in love with the DEI Holiday Bones Stocking. Is it not the cutest? DEI also has one that is great for cats as it has fish instead of bones. Next is to come up with the best products to be the dog stocking stuffers.
Dog Stocking Stuffer: Toys
I wanted Leia to have a great variety in hers and chose to get items that would be snacks but also toys. Leia loves toys that are hide and seek toys. She has one that is an apple that opens and has a few pieces inside and a worm. I know she’s going to love this Christmas Tree Dog Toy that has removable ornaments!
While Leia turned a year old on 11/11/18 she’s still got puppy tendencies especially when it comes to chewing so I thought this KONG Holiday bone would be perfect for her to chew on but also to teeth a little bit. By far her favorite toy is the Frisco Push to Mute Squeaking Triceratops. The best part is that while she loves to hear it squeak, I don’t always love the noise and I can totally make it quiet!
This toy is made from a hard rubber making it hard to destroy. Leia has been chewing toys apart like there’s no tomorrow and I love that this one is lasting longer than a few days. So how does the push to mute work? The handle is attached to the squeaker. You pull the handle out and the squeaker works, push the button in and no squeaks!
Dog Stocking Stuffers: Treats
Leia certainly loves her treats and Christmas is no time to be slacking. However, we try not to feed her food from the table and this is especially important during the holidays as there are so many “people” foods that are harmful for our pets. I grabbed Leia some Blue Buffalo Holiday Santa Snacks and Pork Chops Pork Skin Holiday Canes.
LOL!!! The look on Leia’s face is awesome!
