Amazon Prime Photos has all new features! Plus an opportunity to win a $500 gift card provided by Amazon.com. We all love Amazon Prime for our shipping needs but did you know about their Amazon Prime Photos?
What is Amazon Prime Photos?
Amazon has launched an all-new Prime Photos experience with Family Vault. A Family Vault is a great way to organize and maintain digital photos. Prime members can share their benefit of unlimited photo storage with up to five family members or friends at no additional cost. Prime Photos is free for Prime members and makes it easy for family members to safely store and share all their favorite photos.
Additional new features include: Image Search, People view and Places view. And Prime members can now order photo prints, cards, photo books, and calendars directly from their Prime Photos account. Download the new Prime Photos app here: www.tinyurl.com/PrimePhotos
With the app you can upload on the go and from the device you use the most to take photos. Yep I take 90% of my photos with my phone, another 9% with my iPad and only 1% with my actual camera. It’s all about convenience for me and having the ability to store my photos right away in a safe way is great. While I can use the cloud through Verizon or through Apple, those are limited. In fact I have to go in once a week and delete off photos from each because I go over my limit almost daily. With Amazon Prime Photos, I can upload them with unlimited storage, download them to my home computer or even better to my mom’s computer. The apps are available on iOS and Android so its easy for everyone to use and available to download for both phones and tablets.
Additional cost for Amazon Prime Photos?
Of course the first thing most are going to think of is the cost. If you’re already an Amazon Prime member, you already have the ability to use Amazon Prime Photos and its no additional cost to you. You can also invite up to five people to join your Family Vault and use the unlimited photo storage. So I’ve already set up my account and invited Steve and my mom. Steve uses my Amazon Prime account for shipping but my mom doesn’t have a Prime account just because she doesn’t shop online that much. This is a great way to get you started.
I hate thinking about organizing our photos. Amazon Prime Photos makes it easy with a main Family Vault that holds all your photos. Then you can easily organize with image search, People View and Places View. It uses facial recognition to look for those people that are constant in your photos.
You can also order prints and gifts straight from the site making it easy to get gifts for family and friends!
