I received a message from the Spirit of Halloween Store and I’m loving their idea, Halloweekend. This would make the last Saturday in October the official day for trick or treating.
Saturday Halloween makes good sense.
- Saturday Halloween is more fun for friends and family. Parties last longer, families spend more quality time together —the world is a little happier.
- Saturday Halloween is unrushed. The kids can trick or treat before dark and parents don’t have to race home from work or worry about bedtimes.
- The kids on the sugar rush have all day Sunday to work it off before going back to school.

Orglamix Mineral Makeup

Who isn’t looking for pure mineral based eyeshadow? It is the newest and greatest rage for all makeup. It is better for your skin and causes less skin problems. I have been using a mass produced mineral make up for awhile. My problem lies in the cost. The cost of one 0.01 ounce container of eye shadow is $13. While it does last a while it’s just too expensive for my taste.
I like to mix colors and get a more defined look. I was recently sent a sample of Orglamix Mineral Eyeshadow. The sample I received was Fortune Teller. For $9.99 you will receive three glorious colors: Freesia, Bordeaux and Fig. Combine them together to get the look here. What you don’t get are harsh chemicals. Orglamix is made free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petro-Chemicals and Phthalates.
Not sure about these colors? Orglamix has over 250 shades of eyeshadow alone. You will definitely find a color palatte that fits your needs. For the Halloween season, Orglamix has a special series: Ministry of Magique which includes 10 different color combinations. I’m loving Pirate Wench and Smashing Pumpkin.
