I  have been happily married to my husband for 7 years and we have two beautiful  children together, a 3 year old son, Charlie (BUG) and a 1 year old daughter,  Rachael (BG.) I was born and raised in Maryland where I still reside. I love  spending my time with my family. I’m rather shy until I get to know you but  actually love to meet new people.
My parents both work in hospitals and I was practically raised in one as they both worked long hours. While I dreamed of other professions, I eventually settled down into a great groove as a medical transcriptionist. I currently work for a national company and my main account is for a level I trauma center. Because I hear about tragedies and medical crisises all day long, I tend to relax when not working with uplifting and comedic activities. We have recently taken up dancing and singing around our living room. No worries! I won’t be sharing any videos of that. Too Scary. On top of rainsing two kids, being a loving wife and working full time, I can often be found studying for school, blogging, knitting or helping friends.

About Jackie:
I am a proud wife, mother, stepmother, and all around manager of our household. I have a thirteen year old stepdaughter who visits our home regularly and an adventurous four year old boy and a beautiful, spirited one year old little girl. Our family just relocated to the Southern Maryland area from Ventura County, California. Wow, can you say culture shock! I am adjusting from a transition to full-time working mommy to stay at home mommy. I am hoping that contributing to this blog will help keep me focused on things that don’t necessarily revolve around diapers, spit-up, legos, or kids in general. I love to read, browse and shop online and explore my new home of Southern Maryland.
