Introducing AdoraPet Children’s Books

Throughout the AdoraPet books, Pima Puppy and Pico Puppy have many different experiences that range from the imaginative, like the Mermaid Adventure, to the intrepid, like the Astronaut Adventure, to the practical, like Visiting The Dentist, learning valuable lessons along the way about friendship, helping others, and being true to their own uniqueness. These same lessons, books and toys are what YiShaun hopes to share with her own children one day. YiShaun started AdoraPet on her own and has been bootstrapping the business with her own savings from day one without any outside help or investments. After writing an 8 title children’s picture book series, YiShaun found a printer to print the stories into beautiful and sturdy hardcover books for kids. Instead of finding a publisher to print the books, YiShaun invested her money to start her own AdoraPet Publishing arm under which all the books are printed so that the books can stay within the small, loving AdoraPet company. The books are specifically 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches to be sized perfectly for kids’ small hands as well as for parents’ purses, backpacks and diaper bags when their families are on the go.
Our Thoughts
These books are adorable. The size of the book is perfect for a little baby and toddler’s hand, there are questions at the beginning of the books to interact with your child as you are reading the books to them. The illustrations are simple and colorful, perfect for the age group being targeted. My daughter was instantly captivated by the bold colors and designs and loved the stories were centered around a puppy or in her words, “doggie”. These books make great stocking stuffers for the holidays and can easily travel with a busy mom in her diaper bag. In fact, just the other day, I grabbed both books and put them in my diaper bag because I had to take my little one to the Doctor. I dread visits to the Doctor because it always involves some sort of wait. Needless to say, these books came in handy. We read them together and she practiced turning pages and pointing out different colors on the pages while we waited. What a lifesaver.
