Introducing Seasoned Selects Stuffed Chicken Breasts
From Barber Foods:
I love to have friends and family over for dinner. It doesn’t happen very often because we live in the boonies (read over an hour away from everyone else). But I still love to invite people over. I’m proud of our little house and like to show it off. A few weeks ago I had done some work for a company and they paid me with a gift card to an online steak place. I ordered and received our steaks. We invited the neighbors over for dinner and they were excited to join us and catch up on the family’s going ons. The night of the big dinner we started the grill, I placed some twice baked potatoes in the oven and started the veggies. At the preappointed time, the neighbors came over to join us. It was at this point we learned that the potatoes were cooked and ready, the veggies steamed to perfection and the steaks well they were still mooing. The grill was out of gas. Not wanting to feed our neighbors raw meat I opened up the fridge to see what we could alternate with. The choice was easy Barber Foods New Seasoned Selects. I quickly threw a couple Cordon Bleu and a couple Spinach Florentine in the oven. 30 minutes later we sat down to a delicious meal that lacked the stress of trying to refill the propane tank/find charcoal/cook from scratch. The best part was the neighbors didn’t see me take the chicken from the freezer and had no idea it was from a box. They truly thought I had whipped these chicken delights up from scratch. What a great way to make an impression without all the stress and hassle!

Whenever we’re in a rush to go somewhere after dinner, my 6 year old always decides to be stubborn and not eat his food. He will sit there forever, and we get frustrated.

My drama always involves my husband running late and the dinner I prepared for the family being cold after my kids and I already ate. He either reheats or gets something from the freezer

I have a stepson who is a very, very picky eater…he will look at the food on his plate and if it’s not pizza or chicken nuggets actually work himself up and gets sick. Needless to say, we keep a stock of nuggets in the freezer!!

I left my chili on high in the crockpot on accident all day. It was burnt and dry when I got home.
Thanks for the chance.

I had a major disaster in the kitchen just this past weekend. My 21 month old, loves helping mommy cook and I like to sit him on the island and let him stir and mix. (No I dont let him near the stove). He was helping me crack eggs and accidently knocked off the counter a whole carton of fresh eggs!!!! What a mess but he loves to help mommy cook:)
Put roast in oven but oven wouldn’t work. Friends were coming for dinner so I ordered pizza. Back into the fridge with the roast. We all enjoyed the pizza and had a great time. Got oven fixed next day, cooked roast and it was a success. Took some to pizza friends to thank them for their understanding.
Dinner drama tonight – I put the garlic bread too close to the broiler and it started to burn within 2 minutes. Yikes…solution…cut of burned parts, not tell anyone about the burned parts, and serve with a smile.

I remember burning a uno’s pizza from target. I have to cook some fries and chicken instead.
