Our Thoughts

Last year taking part in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day was the greatest undertaking I have ever done. This year I’m doing it all over again but in a slightly different way. I will be crewing in Philly. Don’t let this idea fool you. As a crew member I still have to do a ton of walking, lifting, and motivating. So I’m still going to be doing training. This year I wanted some help. Something that would keep me motivated. I had looked at several different running watches and heart rate monitor watches in the stores but hadn’t been able to find the one I really wanted. I wanted to find a combination of a heart rate monitor, pedometer and watch all in one. The few that I had found were out of our price range. So I started looking online. That’s when I stumbled upon Hayneedle. Their selection of fitness products was amazing plus I could purchase items to fit other needs at the same time. I was lucky enough to have Hayneedle agree to a review. So I settled on the Mio Motion + watch. I have to say this watch really does have it all. Stop watch feature, a timing feature, pedometer and heart rate. The heart rate being the easiest I have seen to date. Simply place a finger on the rim of the watch and it will start to measure your heart rate. It will make training easier and more effective.
