Our Thoughts
Working with Energizer® has been fantastic. They have provided me with 3 shirts for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® but my problem was what to do the first day. I didn’t want to walk in the same shirt I was going to sit in at the tent. So I started doing some searching online for custom rhinestone T-shirts. This when I found Just Jen. You can do a completely custom shirt starting with a blank shirt and choosing every option under the sun or you can go with one of their designs. (I love their personalized birthday t-shirts. The Zodiac symbol shirts are just gorgeous.) I came across their Ribbon T-shirt and their Think Pink T-shirt. Not only are the shirts beautiful but proceeds go to breast cancer awareness.
I chose to go with a Ribbon T-shirt with the word Believe underneath, because I BELIEVE that as we all work together we can find a cure and one day total prevention. This is where the hard part comes in. You design your shirt from scratch. Starting with picking the type of shirt you want. While I liked the look of the cotton spandex shirts I did notice that Just Jen has clearly stated that these shirts are fitted and to order the next size up. I chose to go with the unisex t-shirt instead. The next choice is color of the shirt and then color of your rhinestones. Since brown and pink are in colors right now I figured why not. They happen to be one of my favorite combinations right now. So I opted for the brown shirt with the fuchsia rhinestones. I went with the fuchsia as this was the color suggested on the website. And honestly this is my only down side to this shirt. Against the brown the fuchsia doesn’t pop as much as I would like. That however is my fault as I made the color choice and really debated between the rose pink and the fuchsia. Steve of course thinks I’m nuts and that it looks great the way it is.
Buying a shirt online as a plus size woman can be very hard to do. If the material is cut the wrong way it may not fit. If the material is not pre-shrunk you may be stuck with using a shirt once and not being able to use it again. With Just Jen I didn’t have this problem at all. I have worn my Believe shirt several times, washed it several times and it still fits like I just got it. The other plus is that I was able to find a shirt perfect for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® and it fits perfectly.
Pros
- Options are numerous to make shirts completely customized.
- Wear-tested to hold up against washing and general wear.
- Proceeds go to breast cancer awareness (Only on the ribbon and think pink T-shirts.)
- If you are unartistic like me you may want to call to place your order, the customer service representatives are more than willing to help you make a correct color choice.
Cons
- Be aware of what style shirt you are purchasing. Some shirts run smaller and Just Jen clearly states that.

LOL The problem with that is for me to get a picture my hubby has to take them and he’s not real steady with the hands. Those were the best pictures he took. But I’ll try to get some more this weekend.
This looks really cute. I too have been considering getting one. Lets see a picture!
