On September 21st, Tinker Bell will once again hit the small screen. Tinker Bell’s new full feature film takes her on a new and exciting adventure that is perfect for the little girls in your life. This new full film will be made available as a DVD or Blu-Ray DVD combo pack.
My daughters (4 years old and 2 years old) had the privilege to see an advanced screening of Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue. We are huge fans of the first two Tinker Bell movies and were excited to hear about the third installment. I was just as excited as well. I always thought the Tinker Bell movies would have been great in the theatre. The movie does not disappoint at all! I even think my 7-year-old son would enjoy it as well. The movie takes place during the summer in the beautiful English country side, which is shown in beautiful colors and details. The musical score adds to the story, setting the right mood for fun, playfulness, and adventure. Especially poignant is the song “How to Believe” by Bridgit Mendler, which really is Tinker Bell summed up in a beautiful song.
Tinker Bell, always the curious fairy, finds herself in trouble when she is able to spend the summer on the Mainland with all of her fairy friends. She quickly discovers that a human family lives near the forest. Lizzie, who is 9 years old, believes in the magic of fairies and her greatest wish is to meet and befriend a fairy. She lives with her father, who is a scientist who believes only in things he can see, touch, and record. A life changing adventure begins when Lizzie puts out her fairy house in the hopes of meeting a fairy. Tinker Bell and Viada discover the house and Lizzie takes Tinker Bell home. It is Viada who gathers all of the familiar fairy friends to rescue Tink. It was heart-warming to see Viada’s character care for another fairy than herself.
All of the favorite characters return, including Clank, Bobble, Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, and Silvermist.
We enjoyed the movie so much, and I was thrilled to see a children’s movie celebrate the magic, wonderment, and friendship of childhood. All you need is, “Faith, trust, and Pixie dust!”
I was given complimentary tickets for my family. All opinions are my own and are in no way swayed by the company.

This movie looks so cute! I saw previews for it and it looks like a wonderful family movie.
We were offered advanced screener tickets but were unable to attend because there was no place close to where we live.
I can’t wait for the DVD. I know that this is one I want to add to our family’s DVD collection.
Thank you for the great review. Now I’m even more excited then see it.
