Keep Going® with the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® Training

It has been unusually hot and humid here. We were working at the gym but had a scare last week. While treading away, a storm came through. The result? A bruise across our stomachs. As we were moving the power cut out. Nothing like walking walking walking, dead stop. We both fell forward into the support bar of the treadmill. The power was only out for a few seconds but it was enough to turn the treadmills off. So being a little cautious and trying to get more time in the kids and I went back to walking the neighborhood. We’ve been averaging 2 miles each trip before it just gets too hot for the kids to be outside.

The upside I found a great product, Cool Off. This towelette comes in a little foil pack that is rather portable. Once out of the package you give the towelette a quick shake and start the rub down. I found the back of my neck, the back of my arms and on really hot days a quick swipe down my back really helped. Cool Off is all natural and gives the skin a quick cooling that lasts for a good 20-30 minutes. It will definitely be in my Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® pack.
