PostEgram: Connecting Families

Introducing PostEgram

From PostEgram:

PostEgram was designed with seniors and military service people in mind. Most adults over the age of 65 do not have an Internet connection in their homes and our servicemen and servicewomen overseas have limited access and time to communicate online.  So as millions of Facebook users communicate instantly, PostEgram gives a broader group of people the opportunity to share those personal exchanges with loved ones in a format that is familiar and accessible.

Our Thoughts

My parents are well connected in the online world, but Steve’s mom has problems turning on the computer. She bought a computer a few years ago and about 3 months ago finally gave up and gave it to the grandkids. So keeping her connected with the ongoings in our life is difficult. I doubt she’s even heard of Facebook or Twitter.

If your family has a member like this, there is a great new solution. PostEgram is a quick and easy to create newsletter. Combine Facebook pictures with your statuses to make a full color layout that will keep the unconnected family member connected. Once you do the first setup, you can actually have PostEgram automatically send a newsletter once a month, twice a month or every week.

  1. I absolutely adore this concept! I have quite a few elderly folks in our family that would love to stay connected but have no Idea how to even turn on a computer and think what joy they would get out of something they could read!
