Our Thoughts
With doing the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® we’ve all been trying to move a little more in this house. Being active is key to a healthier lifestyle right? We love the Jump Start Adventure Online game.
Charlie has been playing it nonstop but I would like to do more activities that require more movement while learning as well. So I was rather intrigued to see the new Get Moving Wii game. Charlie loves to play on the Wii so it seemed a perfect fit. We inserted the disc and off we went. The only problem I found was that in order to really play this game each player has to have not only a controller but a nunchuck controller. Because we only have one we had to take turns playing. Charlie really enjoyed playing the baseball centered games. Since he was in T-ball this spring it was a great way to build on his love of the sport and get him moving inside the house. The skating was too hard for him to get but he is on the younger side of the recommended ages. I loved that you can change what world you were in. You could chose to be underwater or amongst ancient ruins. Changing it up made each time we played a new adventure. The other plus: We were able to get active this summer inside while the heat was raging outside.
