Our Thoughts

At first glance I really liked the idea behind the Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail. It seemed like a great idea. As you put a diaper in the bag a little dash of baking soda follows to neutralize the odor. However, I’ve had a really hard time using this system. The bags were difficult to get into the holding area. I also found in order to get the diaper to go into the bag I have to force it in. Unless I’m missing something it is very hard to get the lid open. The kids cannot help me while using this diaper pail because they can’t get the lid open. I’m waiting for our second week to pass final judgement but it’s not looking good.

Pros

The bag is easy to close after filled and remains relatively odorless.
The lower height makes it easy for the kids to reach.

Cons

Hard to open lid (I cannot do this one handed.)
Difficult to place the diapers in the pail.
