Our Thoughts

I work from home with the two kids right next to me. In order to do this and the kids be able to have space to play, my office was moved to the kitchen. It’s nice except for two things on one side of my desk is the kitty litter pan, the other side is the diaper pail. Yeah not so sweet smelling to sit and work in the smell. So I was excited to join Mom Central’s diaper pail test drive. I will forewarn you that if you use this diaper pail system do not let the kids see you take the film out of the holder to start the bag. Rachael watched me do this. I went off to knitting class and came home to the whole roll of film in the bottom of the pail because she evidently just pulled it all out.

Pros

The tall design makes it easy for anyone in the house to use the Diaper Genie.
The foot pedal is easy for use for all ages and with only one hand.

Cons

I have not been able to find an less smelly way to remove the dirty diapers. You must use the cutter that is an integral part of the design to clip the bag and tie it off and remove from the canister.
I found the refill cumbersome to install as well as easy to pull all the way out and no simple way to place the bag back in the holder.
