Eight years ago today I married my best friend, my soul mate. Steve is the love of my life. He is the sole reason I wake up every morning and am able to see the moon and stars at night.
Eight years ago our family and friends came together to watch us join our two separate lives into one love filled life and it sure has been loved filled. You’ve stood beside me through the ups and downs of switching jobs, going to school, infertility, failed adoption and having two beautiful kids. I know that I don’t have all the words needed to tell you how much I love you and that I don’t tell you often enough how much I love you but please know that I do.
You really are my moon, and my stars, my sun. You are the air I breath, the water I drink and the food that sustains me. I love that impish smile when you make a joke. That way you let things go because you don’t want to confront someone. I love that to this day you will tell anyone and everyone that you are an introvert and the whole while be having a 2 hour long conversation with the same person about nothing at all.
Thank you for giving me the last 8 years of happiness together and I pray for another 108 years.
As gifts have never been a big thing to you I give you whatever it is you most want. A gift certificate to the train store. I see a huge clean up in the basement in our future!
I love you babe! (1,2,3 jinx you owe me a coke.)

The only present I can ask for is for you to be happy…. Although a clue about what you want and the money to get it would be really good too…lol
The best present is you. But I could do with a day off. No kids, no cooking, no cleaning, just a book and a bed.
AWE!!!! *tear* You guys are such inspiration to me!
Happy Anniversary (a day late)!
You looked so beautiful and I love his hat.

I still have the hat too. It was the only thing I insisted on for the wedding… I was wearing a top hat and tails. Ask real nice and maybe you can get her to post the picture of me and her dad. Imagine…Black beard – Black top hat… Grey beard – grey top hat… In back and white… I swear it looks like something from the civil war…lol
