Easy Piano

Easy Piano

Have you ever wanted to play piano? I’ve had always wanted to but we definitely don’t have the space or money for an upright piano. I dream of a house one day where we can have a piano. A few years ago we took Charlie to a local children’s museum where he fell in love with a piano and played the whole time we were there.

Lately his attention has been a more technologically advanced and has been playing with mine or Steve’s Nintendo DS. When I heard about a new game Easy Piano DS I was excited to see how it would work. Would we actually learn to play?

The Easy Piano DS arrived and Charlie was over the moon to try it out. He wanted to plug it in and keep going.  Unfortunately he had played a little too much with the DS the day before and needed to recharge the DS. So 4 hours later, we pulled the DS out and plugged in the Easy Piano DS. We started with the tutorials and watched as Charlie started to learn. The original settings were a little too fast for him. Luckily it’s a simple fix in the settings and options to slow the tempo down. While Charlie is definitely now Mozart, he is at least learning some basics.

Some general information about the Easy Piano DS:

  • Play using the keyboard, or unplug and use a stylus.
  • Master songs in Quick Game mode to earn new tunes. Practice different musical skills with 10 mini-games.
  • Compose and save up to three of your own songs. Replay your compositions using different instruments.
  • Learn to read music from a cool instructor. Unlock new outfits, pianos, and venues.
  • Choose a higher difficulty level when you need a challenge.

I was sent a sample of this product to review. All opinions are my own and are not swayed b the company.
