Knitting Goddesses

knitting I have a question. When you join a yarn club what are your expectations? Do you think your product should come on time and you should receive what you paid for? I am overwhelmed by the response my little posts about the Intention Yarn Clubs has gotten. I’m shocked that we were called horrible drama llamas. Yep that’s me I paid for a product and didn’t receive it. I will also say that I am over the moon excited by the fact that I was able to sell my membership BEFORE the last three shipments. I would have been even more upset when they arrived. The 4th shipment was a spattering of small skeins of yarn so that we might free-form crochet. UM Yeah that would not have been good. The 5th shipment (for a KNITTING/YARN club) was a small bat of fiber to spin and directions to make a drop spindle. Seriously I would have been more than pissed that I had paid for yarn and received unspun fiber. The 6th shipment I understand was relatively good as it was actual yarn although not a color that people wanted to see.

Now in the mean time I have joined two other clubs. The Enchanted Forest and Moonfleet (Both from the Unique Sheep) and I have to say even though there were a few minor issues with the pattern for The Enchanted Forest I am more than satisfied. My shawl is gorgeous not that I have anywhere to wear it at the moment. My new yarn and beads came in for Moonfleet and again I am in love. I decided to make Moonfleet for my boss. She is so understanding and works so wonderfully with her employees that I knew I had to do something special for her when she let us know that she will be getting married later this year. So I sent her over to the Unique Sheep’s site and let her pick a couple colorways that she liked. She challenged me b picking Japonica, The Dark Side. It is a gradience colorway and will definitely be fun to work with. To further challenge myself I added beads. I mean this is something my boss will hopefully be wearing on her honeymoon and what woman doesn’t need a little glitz?

So what are your expectations?
