Wen Cleansing Conditioner
Finding a good shampoo and conditioner is hard for me. My hair is so thin and by the time I get through the washing process my hair is dull and flat. I use almost no styling products (a little hair spray) because it’s always so lifeless.
However I was given the opportunity to review wen by Chaz Dean. I have to say I’m in love with the Sweet Almond Mint cleansing conditioner. Not only is my hair more full, its shiny and has held my color longer. Yep that brown is not natural.
To use wen you start by rinsing your hair for a good 1-2 minutes. Use enough product to cover your hair totally. (I have really short, very fine hair and use 16 pumps. Sounds like a ton but it really isn’t.) Massage in and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. Because it doesn’t have the harsh chemicals of normal shampoo/conditioners it doesn’t lather but trust me you can feel the difference after the first wash.
I started using wen cleansing conditioner and noticed a difference immediately. I then found a few minutes to get my hair colored. I then continued to use wen and low and behold my color has stayed more vibrant and has lasted longer.
Wen is gentle enough to be used on a daily basis but because of the way it works I’ve found that I can go 2 or 3 days between washing. A huge time saver for me when I have the kids by myself, a 5 minute shower to clean off can mean the difference between diasters.
PROS:

- Love the smell of the sweet almond mint. It awakens me with it’s freshness.
- Safe for all hair types
- Has kept my color lasting longer
CONS:
- Definitely not your $3 grocery store price, however it does make hair healthier and healthier looking.
