Who hasn’t had to make a call or receive a call while driving when it wasn’t the safest place to pull over? We live in a rural area. It takes an hour to really get anywhere. The grocery store alone is 35 minutes away. Unfortunately I’ve had to take a call or make one while driving and it’s not always the safest to stop. I had purchased a hands-free device off eBay to use. It didn’t work at all. Half the time the calls wouldn’t connect; the other half it would randomly disconnect. Charging the device was a nightmare. It would hold a charge for all of 20 minutes and then start beeping at me that it needed to charge again. It’s not safe to have to take the device down off the visor and try and recharge it.
I was lucky enough to receive a Parrot MiniKit Chic to review. I had a little problem with getting it to sync to my phone but that was a problem with the phone. I charged the Parrot MiniKit Chic once and have used it over the past month without needing to recharge it. I can simply press the jog wheel and it gives me the option of phonebook, volume or receive contacts. When I press the phonebook option I can turn the jog wheel to hear all the contacts that are in my phone and just another press will dial the contact. The sound is crystal clear and the person on the other end can hear clearly as well.
