Futura Laptop Desk ~~CLOSED~~

yhst-70174716052096_2077_2499313

I have been having a hard time with working the last few weeks. Most of what I have been able to do has been done while sitting in bed with a sick child on each side of me. It was a perfect time to try out my Futura Laptop Desk. This fantastic laptop desk has two mouse pads on either side. Perfect for gamer’s or a mommy with sick kiddos that wants to have the phone handy. I was able to use the mouse on one side and the mouse bad on the other side held by cell perfectly. If you do a little more in the typing arena, the desk folds to make a slanted work space. Perfect for releasing some of the tension off your wrists.

The picture at left shows the Futura Laptop Desk in use both ways. The main picture is with the desk folded for a slanted workspace and the picture within shows the Futura Laptop Desk in use on a lap.

With a Futura Laptop Desk you can bring your laptop to a more comfortable working position and reduce the risk of strain from hunching over your screen to work. The Futura Laptop Desk also reduces heat risks to both you and your laptop. The Futura Laptop Desk is vented to allow heat from the laptop to escape easily but not escape into your legs. A great way to lower the risk to your laptop from overheating.

Who would like to try a Futura Laptop Desk? One lucky reader will win their own Futura Laptop Desk.

When using a laptop in an incorrect position, over time, it could actually increase my risk of injory to my neck, back, hands, and wrists. Crazy!

I learnt that Lighting conditions are often not adjusted for computer(laptop) use. Therefore, glare, combined with improper viewing angle and lack of display adjustability, often results in awkward posture.

Wow, interesting stuff! I learned that the “eraser head” laptop mouse is really bad because of the pressure that you use on that one finger. Never knew that!

    ps

I learned that, since laptops do not have a detachable display and keyboard, there is no posture that is correct while using them.

You can avoid avoid neck, upper body, and eye strain by using an external keyboard and mouse at the appropriate height.

I learned that using the Futura folded in half and set into one of the five incline positions on your desktop, your typing posture becomes less stressful.

OH boy can I attest to what poor ergonomics can do to you. the site comment was “Lighting conditions are often not adjusted for computer(laptop) use. Therefore, glare, combined with improper viewing angle and lack of display adjustability, often results in awkward posture.”
I have been in bed mostly the past year with chronic illness and it is VERY hard on your back and neck to view a laptop even while you think sufficiently propped up with pillows. AND, while it rests on your lap, your legs get SO warm, and i assume it is NOT good for either computer OR you!!!

I would REALLY REALLY love to try the Futura Laptop Desk!

    thanks so much

I learned that any time spent in an awkward, forceful position will increase the likelihood of future chronic pain and there is no posture that is correct while using laptops without a desk.
