I usually leave the computer back ups and safety measures to Steve. I just don’t want to mess anything up. If Steve does it and I lose something I can yell at him. Can’t yell at myself so much. Considering I am a paparrazi mom it’s important to me that my pictures never be at risk.
But with the purchase of my laptop came the responsibility to maintain it. While Steve would gladly do it for me I feel it’s up to me to be the professional and do it. So when given the chance to review the Free Agent Go I was ready to make the leap.
Seagate sent me a Free Agent Go in sky blue. Yep you guessed it, the Free Agent Go comes in different colors as well as different sizes.
Set up was easy. Unpack the drive connect the USB cord to the computer and the software (preloaded on the drive) takes over. After a few simple clicks, the software was installed and ready for usage. I now have a back up of my complete hard drive and the Seagate manager software is scheduled to back up twice a week.
BUY IT: You can purchase your Free Agent Go online or at retailers nationwide. Prices vary on size.
WIN IT: Seagate has offered one reader their very own Free Agent Go.

I like the color Sky Blue.
It is important to back information, pictures, etc from your laptop or risk loosing it all when your motherboard fails like mine did 4 times. I lost pictures of my first house being built when my motherboard died on me last January.
I know how important it is to do backups on the computer. I lost almost everything I had on one computer and so now I do backups on my computer all the time. I would love to have another one to help keep up with all the backups and I love the black color one!

I know the importance of backing up files, especially since I’ve experienced harddrive failure on one computer recently. I prefer the FreeAgent in Titanium Silver.
Thanks!

Bright red for me. I want to be able to find it quickly when I want it. Back -up is the most important deed of the day for creative people. I lost almost all of a book I was working on. Spent $$$ hundreds to get it back which took some time but by that time my creative spark had gone out and I never got it back for that project. Now I back up daily. This is a really great giveaway. Thanks!
I would love to have it in pink. It’s so important to backup your digital photos. I’ve had computer crashes and it’s devastating to lose those precious, unreplaceable photos!
I would like the green color for backing up operating system files.
I would like mine in red. Why do backups? Two reasons I can think of right away. Your files could be infected with viruses and it would be nice to have a clean backup or heaven forbid your drive crashes and everything is lost.
I like the Forest Green and backing things up is vital because I once lost everything. I learned the hard way. Back your important things up, save yourself grief later on!

I like the blue. It’s important to backup because you never know when your hard drive will crash or get invaded by malware. I’ve seen many people loose years of files because they didn’t have a backup.
The forest green looks nice and I think it is important to backup files because once you lose them you lose them forever.

spring green is the best mverno@roadrunner.com
The red is snazzy.
You never know what’s going to happen when. So a backup is always good.
Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<
I would go for the ruby red. I’ve lost data before, so I know first hand that backup is important. Better safe than sorry.

I think the Ruby Red color is very snazzy! I’ve always understood the importance of backups, especially at work where I am at the mercy of whatever happens to our network servers. Thanks for the chance to win!
The pink is awesome! It is important to back up your files because I just lost some very important digital photos due to a hard drive crash on my computer. I am very sad because my son had the lead in the school play and all 125 pictures are gone!
Thank you!
The Ruby Red is nice, so’s the Sky Blue. I’ve had hard drive crashes – can always reload the software, but the data has to be backed up!
I like royal blue.
I need to back up by hard drive, because that’s where I have all my pictures, and all my MP3′s too.
I like the forest green and I back up regligiously now because my hard drive crashed and I lost all of my daughter’s graduation pictures. I was able to get some from family but that really drove home the backup message!
I like the darker of the two blues. It’s important for me to back up, because I couldn’t imagine losing pictures and videos.
I would want a pink one to give to my girlfriend. With most pictures being digital you have to back them up or if you drive fails all those memories are gone.
oooh the green one is my favorite. Backing up is sooo important, if you lose your files you can never get them back, those memories are lost.
I like black and I think a back up is important because I have a ton of memories aka pictures and songs that if I lose, I cannot get back.
