FreeAgent Go from Seagate ~~CLOSED~~

I usually leave the computer back ups and safety measures to Steve. I just don’t want to mess anything up. If Steve does it and I lose something I can yell at him. Can’t yell at myself so much. Considering I am a paparrazi mom it’s important to me that my pictures never be at risk.
But with the purchase of my laptop came the responsibility to maintain it. While Steve would gladly do it for me I feel it’s up to me to be the professional and do it. So when given the chance to review the Free Agent Go I was ready to make the leap.
Seagate sent me a Free Agent Go in sky blue. Yep you guessed it, the Free Agent Go comes in different colors as well as different sizes.
Set up was easy. Unpack the drive connect the USB cord to the computer and the software (preloaded on the drive) takes over. After a few simple clicks, the software was installed and ready for usage. I now have a back up of my complete hard drive and the Seagate manager software is scheduled to back up twice a week.

I think it is important to back up your files, especially pictures because you never know when you might have a computer failure. I have experienced the dreaded “blue screen of death” and it makes you want to break down and cry.

I’m partial to the Spring Green color. I have thousands of photos of my baby girl and if I lost that data I would be heartbroken.
I like pink. I know it’s girly. I think it’s important to back up, cause I would cry if I lost my pics of my babies.
I like the Royal Blue. It’s important to back up because otherwise you have a real mess on your hands when your computer dies (and it’s very expensive to try to recover things).
I like the forest green. This is important because I’ve just this week gotten my second Trojan virus. if you’ve ever had one you know it destroys your computer. IT was able to fix it, but not fully. I hadn’t backed up since January 09 therefore losing 11 months of my work! : ( it has been a very depressing week. We’ve lost our vacation photos by the way, the only vacation we’ve ever taken together! :* (

Ilove the bright red
I love the orange and it’s so important because the pics and vids I have are way too precious to lose
I would choose the red. To me, it’s so important to back up because I have photo’s that I would be heartbroken if I were to lose them.

I love the red and I think it’s important to backup your files because a computer can crash at any time for any reason. It’s pretty scary.

I would like the white, simple and neat. I think it is very important to back up. You never know when a virus will hit!
I would choose the solar orange. It would be for my son who is going to be a freshman in college next year and orange would be easy to find in a messy dorm room. Since his laptop will have all of his assignments, notes, research papers, etc. on it it will be very important that he keep it backed up.
I like the Forest Green color. Backups are important so that pictures and other data don’t get lost when the disk fails.

Love the Champagne Gold. I have been computing for a long time. In this household, we might as well change our last name to Careful. However we do push our computers to the limit. Without an external backup, loss of data, programs, photos, videos, personal files, and more is a very real possibility. Been there, don’t wanna do that again. These are very stylish as well.

I would choose the blue. I’d like to give it to my husband so that he could back up all of his digital photos.

I do love the sky blue, but I also really like the red. I think it’s important to do back-ups because as a freelance writer/editor I can’t afford to lose my clients work; if I lose their work, I lose them and they are valued people, not just customers. If I lost my writing, music or photos, which I have before and it makes me sick to my stomach, I’d be devastated and a lost little sheep.

I like all the colors really… except for orange, pink, and spring green.
It’s more important to do backups now more than ever. Everyone is getting so dependent on technology. Everything can disappear in a matter of seconds. With a backup, at least you don’t have to start from zero.

i learned the hard way to back up my files had computer problems had to do a reinstall lost all my pictures/music etc live and learn

I would choose the color black for the FreeAgent Go, to match the black shell of my laptop. I think it is important to do backups because you never know when your hard drive might fail or when irreplaceable data/pictures might get corrupted. jgs0925 at gmail dot com
I like the black or the white anf I think that every college student should always back up their HOURS of work.

I like the Spring Green color and would use it to backup photos.
All of my photos are on my PC. It’s important to back them up so that I will always have them. I like it in Ruby red.

I feel it is VERY important to back up files. I learned that the hard way, when we lost everything. And I DO like that pretty blue color. So delicate yet so strong.
I try to back up things, but always seem to forget until after I’ve turned the machine off. This would make it SO much safer and easier for me.
