I really had a great time at the Type-A Mom Conference until Saturday evening. I have had numerous people email, DM, private message me on forums to ask about the drama. So here is my take:
I am being professional (we did sit through several sessions on Saturday about being professional) and will not go into details, will not name names. I will say that I believe I was treated unfairly as were Robbie from Cozi, Drew from Eden Fantasys and Erin from Scandinavian Child. I am sending out hugs to them this morning and hope that they realize that there are bloggers that want to work with them and appreciate the support they have given us as a community no matter which way it was given.
I would also like to thank Corina from Down To Earth Mama, Stacie from The Divine Miss Mommy, Nicole from Pink and Posh and Drew from Eden Fantasys for supporting me Saturday evening when drama started. I had only tweeted with Nicole a few times before the conference. I have tweeted and worked with Corina, Stacie and Drew for awhile. But these people took the time to make sure I was okay, offered to seek physical action (not that I think any of them would have done it if I asked but it was a sign of support.) and made sure I knew that what I had to offer was important. Without their support I can honestly say that this blog would have been shut down this morning. I was heading to my room to contact the hosting site to delete my accounts when these people took it upon themselves to see that I was able to rise above, stop crying and realize that the other person involved was the one in the wrong. So my heartfelt adoration goes out to each of them for being the support this community needs.
What I have taken away from Type-A Mom Conference:
- Be myself. I am shy, I do tend to sit by myself and I am extremely quiet. (Until you really know me.) But that is me and I’m proud of it.
- No one should have the power to make me upset enough to ruin my hard work.
- There are some awesome bloggers and companies that will work with us and support us but there are some that will bring us down.
- I now know two of those people that will bring us down and I will block them from all portions of my life.
This is my open, public call: Robbie from Cozi, Drew from Eden Fantasys and Erin from Scandinavian Child if you have a product you want showcased or if you have a button that you would like displayed on I Like It Frantic please contact me and I will gladly place it above the fold on this site to show my support for you and it will be done for free.

Hi Holly,
I’m glad I got to meet you at dinner on Saturday. I’m sorry there was some drama around you. :-/ Was it after dinner? I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be there to help out. I went back to the room and packed.
I was pleased and happy with the sponsors and have zero bad things to say about them. I want to think more of us feel the same way. I’ve heard as much from many that I spoke with!
It was nice to meet you!
It was lovely to meet you as well! And I can’t wait to read more from you!
