Charlie loves to cook. Let him make a batch of cookies and he is in heaven. We only have two small problems. He doesn’t like to eat sweets so he makes the cookies and mommy and daddy eat them. And I’m just tired of the mess. Making cookies from scratch is great fun but I then have to clean it all up. When you make a batch from scratch you also wind up with 3 dozen cookies and we just can’t go through them.
My Blog Spark and Pillsbury gave me the opportunity to try out the new Simply . . . cookies. These delicious cookies come in chocolate chip and peanut butter. What makes them simple? They are made with wholesome ingredients like flour, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla and have zero grams trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors or flavors and no preservatives. Each package has pre-scored cookies. Simply break them apart and bake.
My Blog Spark and Pillsbury have graciously decided to give one (1) of my lucky readers their own Pillsbury…simply Cookies prize pack which includes a cookie jar, a canvas tote and a coupon for a FREE package of these fabulous cookies!

Is this contest REALLY over? Posted on the 30th and over on the 2nd? Well, just in case that’s a misprint, I’ll enter!
I make my cooking more simple by preparing as much as possible the night before–I set all my shelf-stable ingredients out as well as my skillets, pots, whatever I need, and the measuring tools that I’ll need, and I look over my recipe to make sure I haven’t forgotten an ingredient.
