Is there a monster in the house? A bug in the kids ears? I’d really like to know.
Seriously what is going on with the sleeping habits in this house? Yesterday both kids were up and PLAYING at 3:30 in the morning. Of course I was exhausted and took a small nap on the couch. Let me tell you 15 minutes of nap was not worth it. First I still was exhausted and second I woke up to every single book and match box car tossed in the middle of the floor.
Today Steve got up and left for work. I got up went to the bathroom. Laid back down and couldn’t sleep. Yes I was still tired but couldn’t fall back to sleep. The kids? Yeah they slept until 8 this morning. They NEVER sleep that late. So is there something in the air? How has your house slept lately?

there is a new moon, that might have something to do with it. i always find that sometimes they are worse than the full moon for people behaviors. i hope you get a chance to get some rest.
I guess I shouldn’t complain about our sleep habits. Good luck, I hope it’s over soon!
I agree about the full moon effect. My husband’s sleeping problems seem to be worse at that time.
Hope you get some rest!

Everyone in my house sleeps fine. It’s me that doesn’t. After working full-time during the graveyard shift and running the household, it seems I never get any sleep. I’d be happy with five uninterrupted hours. I doubt I’d know what to do with myself if I slept very long.
Hope everything goes back to normal for you.
My kids were like that ALL week! I think they were overexcited about school starting! Now they don’t want to get up,lol!
@ Darci Park:
LOL Darci I wish we had some better sleep habits here.
Maybe the planet is realigning and causing a shift in your sleeping pattern! lol I go through the same phase myself. And ironically, when you take a short nap, it makes you a lot tired than suppose to. You can’t win. Next time, just blog!
Praying we both get some sleep Kristy!
