Piggy Paint ~~CLOSED~~

I’m not much of a girly girl. If I’m wearing makeup it’s a big deal. But I love having my nails done. And I’m bound and determined that Rachael will be more of a girly girl. We received a sample of Piggy Paint’s nail polish in Tea Party for Two. It was perfect and came just in time for the Fourth of July.

We tried doing Rachie’s piggies but she wouldn’t hold still long enough for me. (She’s teething again.) So I grabbed our cousin (A) who is 6. Her eyes lit up when she realized that I had nail polish. We started out with her toes. She absoultely loved the blue and it sparkles. It went out smoothly and no running. We followed the directions and let the polish air dry for a minute and then blow dried them for a minute and there was no chipping.

The next thing we wanted to try was to see how it would work if a child was actually doing the painting. It was A’s turn to paint some toes. She did her mom’s (D) and later held Charlie down to do his. A really had a blast and there was no mess. What did get on the surrounding toe wiped off very easily with a baby wipe.

Now D also painted her fingers, she was watching all three kids at the same time and forgot to blow dry them. Her fingers were starting to chip a little by the end of the day but if you follow the directions chipping doesn’t start for several days.
