About kushies:
The company was founded as a small cottage style industry in 1953. It grew to become the only Canadian manufacturer of doll clothing and accessories. In 1988, Sam Perez and Susan Malinowski purchased the assets of the doll company and assumed the roles of President / CEO and Vice-President. They started to look for additional market possibilities for the company to expand. The decision was made to concentrate efforts on the infant children’s market, with the initial product to be a re-useable form-fitted cloth diaper. The internationally trademarked name Kooshies was created for the new product line. After designing the revolutionary 100 per cent cotton, reusable diaper, Kooshies undertook a year of extensive testing and refinements, and went on to patent the Kooshies diaper. Due to opposition from a US company the name was changed to kushies. kushies is now located in Niagrara Falls, NY.

They have a fantastic weekend bag that includes a large duffel style suitcase, an insulated snack box, an insulated medicine box, clean clothes bag, dirty clothes bag, soiled clothes bag with laundry bag insert, a spare shoes bag, a pillow and blanket. I personally am not a cloth diapering mommy but if I was I’d definitely be getting some kushies diapers. They have all sorts of fabrics, designs and some extras like the On the go Wet bag and Flushable Biodegradable Liners.

Rachael was able to try out the hooded towel. I have to say we don’t use very many towels. Mostly because the ones we have aren’t wide enough to actually wrap around a child larger then a newborn. Not the case with this one:

It has the most adorable designs. I love the brown swirls with pink dots. I was able to easily wrap Rachael completely in the towel with some extra space so it should last us for awhile.
