JumpStart ~~CLOSED~~

JumpStart has a new virtual world game online. I’ve been using JumpStart products for years. We used the computer games in the daycares I used to work in and then I bought the games for my nephews. We were just starting to look at products for Charlie when I found the online world of JumpStart. Now I can’t get Charlie off my computer.

He’s a little thief. Anytime I pull my laptop out to work, Charlie is right there with an “I play now momma.” Now I’m overly ecstatic at the new words but come on I want my computer back! The game states it is good for ages 3 to 10. Now I was a little skeptical of this as that’s a pretty big age range, but our 6-year-old cousin has been having a blast as well.

Above is a screen shot of the interactive map within JumpStart. The Jumpee Builder is where you build your character. Charlie went all out with his and is sporting a fireman hat and is missing a tooth. Adventure Land is where kids from 5-8 can find activities. Story Land is for the 3 and up crowd. There is a new world coming (FutureLand) for the 7-10 crowd. Within each Land there are several activities that can be tailored to the child’s skill set. There are also three new arcade style games to be played. Charlie hasn’t tried those yet. He has too much fun with the bug game inside Story Land.
