A New Passion ~~CLOSED~~

Steve and I finally have some shows on Tuesday’s that we can agree upon. What used to happen is I watch live whatever I wanted and Steve Tivo’d his shows. Now we can enjoy Tuesday’s together.

Starting at 9 pm EST, we tune our TV to TNT. We start with HawthoRNe. Since ER went off the air I’ve been searching for a good medical drama. Search OVER.

About HawthoRNe: Jada Pinkett Smith plays Christina Hawthorne, a compassionate and headstrong Chief Nursing Officer heading up a group of dedicated nurses at Richmond Trinity Hospital who spend long days and nights on the hospital’s front lines. Hawthorne is the kind of nurse you want on your side when you or someone you love is in the hospital. She is the kind of nurse who fights for her patients and doesn’t let them slip through the cracks. When necessary, she takes on doctors and administrators who are overworked, distracted or just unable to see the human being behind the hospital chart.
Whether showing humanity to a homeless woman, trying to talk a suicidal cancer patient off a ledge or exposing a doctor’s near-fatal error, Hawthorne will do everything in her power to help her patients. When a patient’s care is at risk, she doesn’t hesitate to violate protocol, defend her staff or stand up to administrators who seem to have forgotten a hospital’s true purpose.

When HawthoRNe is over we keep tuned into TNT for Saving Grace. Steve has watched Saving Grace from the beginning and because I want to spend our time together I’ve been watching it this season and LOVE it.

About Saving Grace: SAVING GRACE focuses on Det. Hanadarko (Holly Hunter) as she investigates brutal crimes while trying to balance her relationship with her partner, Ham (Kenneth Johnson). Grace also must figure out cryptic messages from her last-chance angel, Earl (Leon Rippy). At the end of the second season, death row inmate Leon Cooley, who shared visions of Earl with Grace, was executed, leaving a hole in Grace’s life. Soon, she began having dreams of a young drug addict named Neely (King), which lead Grace to believe Neely also shares a connection with Earl.
