Wahoo Disney!!

I promise there will be some pictures from our Disney World trip before the end of next week. My brother in law was in charge of camera duty and he has over 1600 pictures for me to transfer, upload and play with.

But since we’re talking Disney can I tell you about 3M’s new Disney Themed Command Hooks? These are awesome. We’ve actually been using 3M’s Command Hooks since Charlie was an infant. We had two on the side of his changing table that held our nursery organizer and there are two on the back of the nursery closet doors. Right now these are holding Rachael’s outfit for the day. It’s a great way to organize. And relatively cheaply as well.

Charlie was lucky enough to receive this three pack from 3M and they of course totally match his room. We got two of the contoured Lightening McQueen and one flat Lightening McQueen hooks. Now getting Charlie ready in the

morning has taken on a new life. The night before we gather his clothes for the next day and hang them from his hooks. We also gather a change of clothes for his potty accidents. These fit nicely on the back of his closet door. The third hook we placed on the side of our shoe cabinet. You see anytime we leave the house we fight with Charlie over what toys he can/can’t take in the car. So we got him a lunch bag and he’s told that he can place two toys in the bag. Now the bag hangs from the side of our shoe cabinet so Charlie has easy access to it. When he comes inside he knows the bag goes on the hook and the toys go back in the toy boxes.

We also received some princess hooks and a Hannah Montana. I haven’t decided where I’m going to place the princess ones yet. The Hannah Montana one has somehow disappeared. I think our cousin who is 6 is to blame for that one. She was excited to see something she could use. She already had plans to hang it near the front door for her school bag.

The best two things about all of the 3M hooks is that a) they’re not expensive. The hooks range from under $5 to $12 and b) they don’t harm the walls. I do all the painting in our house. So this is a huge plus for me. I just don’t want to have to spackle, sand and fill holes because we needed an easy way to organize. 3M also has picture hanging strips to hang all of your pictures without all the holes.
