So baby girl has decided to just grow up to fast. No way at 8 months old she should be standing on her own. She has really progressed with crawling this week. She has a hard time on the floors since they are either the tile or hardwood and she slips easily but she’s mastered it. Every now and then the decision is made to just slide since it seems to be faster. Adorable as can be. Rachael got her first ear infection this week and has been fighting a cold. But she never fails to smile or laugh when we need it the most. 
Baby girl you need to slow down some. Mommy is so not ready for you to be walking yet. You sure have taken after your brother in a lot of ways. Charlie was an early walker and you seem to be following his foot steps. This weekends big project is to lower your mattress. Just like your mommy you seem to be ready to move out of the crib. I’ve caught you several times peeking over the rails. And again Mommy says I’m not ready. Slow it down and lets enjoy the baby time a little more.
